This tutorial will show you how to get started using the Google Drive LTI within Canvas. Before you can start using the Google Drive integration, you have to authorize Google Drive to connect with your Canvas account.

Step 1

Log into your Canvas account, select the Google Drive tool in the toolbar on the left, and then select the Authorize button at the bottom of the page.

A new window will open. Select Authorize.

Step 3

The window will close automatically after you select Authorize, and then the page in Canvas will automatically refresh and show you your Google Drive folders and files. From this page, you can open files in Google Sheets, Docs, Slides, etc. To do so, select the file and then select OPEN at the bottom of the page.
