Overview

Turnitin is a feature that instructors can enable on individual assignments to detect plagiarism. Turnitin is a program that compares students submissions to information on the internet and other papers that have been submitted to Turnitin before. Turnitin gives the instructor and the student a similarity percentage, and instructors can see the source of the duplicated information and how much of the overall similarity percentage was from that source.

The following links will take you to the guides created by Instructure for Turnitin.
